Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actor who has appeared in numerous television series. She also excels in the world of film. The popularity of her is shared by both Canadian and American TV. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's film productions. When she realized her love for the acting world Emily decided to enroll in acting classes and started auditioning. The first commercials she auditioned for were, but soon got cast as a child actor in the Canadian television horror show Are You Scared of Darkness? There was just one scene that she didn't talk. The actress got her first big break at 15, when she got a role as a regular character on Glory Days, a WB show Glory Days. The show ended up being cancelled after just nine episodes, Emily's acting attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who decided to cast her in his TV show Everwood.
