April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th July. She started guitar and piano lessons at age seven. She was interested in making music was ignited. at the age of 12, April wrote her first tune Different. at the age of 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing songs and honed her musicianship skills. Then she began to take trips to write with father, who lived in NY in New York and LA. April started to incorporate additional relevant subjects into the"Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer who has a growing following. She works with popular brand Ilia in partnership, in addition to being a lifestyle expert. Disability is an aspect of her personality, but it's not all of the image. Lockhart isn't shy about mentioning her disability in her Instagram profile but she doesn't make it the focus of her account. What message does it convey? that we are all a part of a multitude of identities and that we're much greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart stated in a video interview she didn't want to be defined solely by the condition she has. She doesn't want to be a disability advocate one who focuses only on it. There is a lot of aspects that make up Lockhart. The issue doesn't affect my everyday way of life. I run the same way as I always do and have found my own ways to adapt. It's an integral element of my life which is why it's crucial to discuss the subject. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey will be one that lasts a lifetime, but she inspires me in this regard. She admits that she has had periods where she felt insecure about the way she dressed and showed her arms. She wears what she likes and is proud to post pictures of herself in the outfits she chooses on social media. Self-love, according to her, is a process. "I don't think you'll ever get there," she said. The same is true for everybody regardless of state of being. The people that you associate yourself with who truly know you and are able to see inside your heart, are the ones that remind you of the things that matter.
